THE WAY IN

Photography series on the wandering of the mind

The series takes place in white bare rooms: the interior labyrinth where the mind wanders, whose features are always changing while we go deeper and deeper, in and out, in our quest for a meaning.

By removing all unnecessary elements, the subject is left with a feeling of mystery and a hint of a presence that drives her explorations in all directions. The three elements in primary colours embody this presence, whose nature is uncertain and open to interpretation: they can be universal truths, but also fundamental questions. Elements that are next to us, whose presence we can feel, but whose sense we can never fully grasp.

The Way In was completed in January 2019.
